For many years, I have avoided watching Indian #soap #operas as I thought that they were filled with numerous unnecessary dramas. However, recently I somehow got hooked watching one called #Dahleez. The basic synopsis is that a young girl, Swadheenta, from Chennai moves to Delhi, and works for a renowned senior lawyer, Suhasini Sinha. Along with her son, Adarsh Sinha, all their goals are to support truth and justice. During the marriage of Adarsh and Swadheenta, a terrorist attack occurs, and members of the couple's family are killed during this attack. Due to several misunderstandings, Swadheenta's uncle and brother are falsely accused to be the main terrorists behind this attack. Despite what the media says and going against her in-law family, Swadheenta firmly believes that her family members are innocent because she listens to her soul. She does everything she can to prove their innocence and stands by their side 200%, even when her own husband was against her. She has taught me about the importance of one's character for fighting what s/he believes in. As well, I learned that no matter how tough times are, the #truth will prevail.
So, as you can see, one can gain wisdom and life lessons from everything, including Indian soap operas!
